Major Accounts Associate
Surrey, BC, Canada
Full Time
Mid Level
Bridge the Gap. Keep Customers Up and Running.
Sales makes the promise; Operations delivers the result. We are looking for a Major Accounts Associate to join our Surrey team as the critical bridge between the two. This isn’t a “sit back and wait” role. You are the primary point of contact for our key clients, ensuring every commitment we make is executed, keeping their equipment and operations up and running from delivery to final invoice.
What You’ll Be Doing
Working directly with our Sales and Operations teams, you are the “Operational Partner” for our major accounts. You aren’t just monitoring spreadsheets; you’re managing the gears behind the scenes:
The Go-To Contact: You are the first person our customers call for equipment, parts, or rental support.
The Red-Tape Cutter: You own the customer experience. If there’s a delay or issue, you step in and get it resolved quickly, before the customer has to ask twice.
Uptime Advocate: You keep a pulse on fleet health. If a machine is down, you push internal teams to get it back up and running.
Strategic Planning: You support quarterly account reviews and planning sessions to stay ahead of customer needs and improve performance.
What You Bring
Quick Learner: You pick things up fast and apply them. You don’t need deep industry experience. You bring the ability to learn and execute.
Problem-Solving Grit: You don’t just escalate issues; you take ownership and see them through to resolution.
High-Level Communication: You can talk “shop” with Operations and “strategy” with leadership. You stay proactive with customers.
Detail-Oriented: You keep paperwork, invoicing, and service schedules tight. No surprises for the customer.
Why Join the Williams Machinery Team?
Competitive Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year (based on experience), with future opportunity for commission growth.
Work-Life Balance: 3 weeks of vacation to start, plus a team-first environment with strong operational support, so you can plan your work, not constantly react to it.
Total Support: Comprehensive benefits, plus Health and Lifestyle Spending Accounts.
Training & Development: Ongoing OEM and internal training, with clear opportunities to grow your career within the organization.
Future Focus: RRSP matching to help you build for the long term.
