We're looking for a Level 4 Apprentice Technician for our Terrace branch who is eager to grow their skills, work alongside experienced technicians, and build a rewarding career with a company that invests in its people.
Partnering with our Service Team, you'll diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide variety of material handling equipment, including electric and internal combustion forklifts, compact equipment, and heavy machinery. Whether in the shop or out in the field, you'll have the support, training, and opportunities needed to take your trade to the next level.
What You'll Bring
Registered Apprentice: Must be a Level 4 ITA-registered Apprentice in a recognized skilled trade.
Mechanical Aptitude: Experience diagnosing and repairing LPG, gas, and diesel engines, along with hydraulic and electrical systems.
Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to read schematics and confidently identify and resolve equipment issues.
Team Mindset: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude toward working collaboratively.
Eagerness to Learn: A willingness to develop your technical abilities and grow within the organization.
Mobile Ready: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
What You'll Do
Diagnose and repair a variety of material handling, compact, and heavy equipment, including electric and internal combustion forklifts.
Perform scheduled Planned Maintenance (PM) services and Safety Inspections.
Complete shop and field service work as directed by your Supervisor.
Communicate repair progress, findings, and recommendations to customers and team members.
Contribute to a safe, productive, and customer-focused work environment.
