Service Advisor

We are currently looking for a Service Advisor to join our Service Team in Surrey.  Reporting to the Service Manager, the Advisor will be responsible for scheduling service work in the service department and for selling recommended or required services to customers. If you are passionate about customer satisfaction and you are a self-starter that enjoys working in a fast paced environment, we’d like to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate with customers regarding services recommended and performed
  • Prepare service estimates, sell routine maintenance/repair services
  • Conduct follow-ups regarding unsold services, estimates and customer inquiries
  • Perform opening and closing responsibilities with repair orders
  • Schedule appointments, answer phones and collect funds for services performed
  • Administer and communicate with OEM’s regarding warranties as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Understanding of equipment / automotive repairs (will be consider an asset)
  • Ability to read schematics and embrace continued learning
  • Demonstrates an extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong execution and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to contribute positively to the team environment with willingness and desire to learn.
  • A proactive autonomous individual driven by own high standards and desire to succeed.
  • Knowledge and experience in construction, transportation, mining, oil & gas, pipeline, and power transmission projects is an asset to this role.

Experience & Education:

  • High School diploma
  • Related experience and/or training
