Williams Machinery, located at 10240 Grace Road, Surrey, BC, V3V 3V6, is seeking to hire a full-time permanent exceptional professional to join our team as a Corporate Sales Manager. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this high-impact, challenging role requires proven leadership and sales expertise to drive performance across multiple regions and market sectors. The successful candidate will take full ownership of strategic sales planning, lead high-performing teams, build and maintain key client and OEM relationships, and collaborate on business and staffing strategies to maximize sales productivity and achieve revenue goals in a fast-paced, competitive environment.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sales Planning across the Construction Business Units: Develop and implement long-term sales strategies and tactics under the guidance of the VP of Sales.
  • Business Unit Budgetary Responsibilities: Responsible for annual budget planning, sales forecasting, and the strategic planning process for the business unit. Plan, allocate, monitor, and manage the financial resources of business unit including revenue targets, expense management, resource allocation, forecasting and planning, financial reporting.
  • Key Account Relationship Management: Actively pursue and build strong business relationships with major clients and targeted accounts. Identify creative solutions to exceed client expectations
  • Day-to-day OEM Relationships Management: Along with the VP of Sales, build and maintain strong relationships with OEM’s, serving as the primary day-to-day operational contact and ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Targets & Team Performance: Set and monitor team sales targets and performance metrics. Provide order forecasts for the VP Sales and Inventory Manager, ensuring branch inventory aligns with sales needs.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Coach the sales team leaders on processes and methodologies through regular meetings and joint client visits. Cultivate a performance-driven and accountable sales culture.
  • Reporting & CRM Management: Maintain detailed and accurate sales activity records, leveraging CRM systems to capture client interactions and market insights. Ensure team compliance with CRM and resource usage standards.
  • Cross functional Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with internal departments (e.g., service, parts, marketing) to support client service excellence and team objectives. Partner with the VP Sales on business and staffing plans aligned with corporate goals.
  • Customer & Market Insight: Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Maintain and enhance existing client relationships to secure repeat business and high customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and optimize the Business Unit inventory to ensure maximum turns and profit of the Business. 
  • Conduct in-person client and partner meetings to build and sustain key relationships.
  • Perform other responsibilities, as assigned, to support overall sales success

Talent Management Responsibilities:
  • HR Compliance and Employee Relations: Ensure adherence to company HR practices and policies, fostering a positive and collaborative environment for all team members.
  • Training and Development Coordination: Collaborate with HR to maintain, update, and enhance all required employee training and educational programs.
  • Performance and Development Planning: In consultation with HR, oversee the preparation and execution of staff performance reviews, development plans, objective setting, and succession planning.
  • Team Training and Coaching: Guide and support the team’s growth through structured coaching, both formally and informally.
  • Staffing Efficiency: Ensure productive staffing levels are maintained to support business needs.
  • Company Standards and Culture: Model and promote company values and "ways of working" within the team to cultivate a constructive, value-driven work environment.
  • Workplace Safety: Maintain a safe working environment, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all team members.

  • Intermediate ability to use Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams.
  • A high level of fluency in both spoken and written English is required.



Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in sales of equipment or similar machinery/industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing and coaching sales teams across multiple business units.
  • Experience developing budget and departmental sales forecasting plans.
  • Post-secondary education in a related discipline is required; a degree in Business Administration and Management is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally as required.
