Sales & Rentals Yard Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive new and used machinery verifying quantity and quality of the equipment denoting supporting documentation as required.
- Initiate over, shortage, damage processes with sales coordinators.
- Process and locate machinery and attachments according to established procedures, creates and affixes asset bar codes, and track locations within the ERP.
- Check condition and completeness of all incoming and outgoing rental equipment, documenting with inspection logs and pictures.
- Prepare rental equipment for shipment to customers ensuring it is washed as required, presentable and functioning properly.
- Complete documentation (bills of lading and transportation logs) for all incoming and outgoing equipment.
- Ensure all incoming customer equipment is accurately tagged with all attachments, and all attachments are present upon return to the customer.
- Responsible for staging all sales machinery, rental equipment, and customer equipment to the shop queue area.
- Complete stock verification checks for the sales coordinators.
- Coordinate and participates in machinery and attachment stock counts (minimum once per year).
- Maintain the equipment storage areas cleanliness and organization ensuring all equipment is moved from and stored in the proper locations and housekeeping duties are completed in a timely manner.
- Support the locations rental coordinator in other functions as required (i.e. vacation support).
- Other related duties, as assigned.

Training, Education and Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in an industrial or construction site environment using or working around compact & heavy construction or material handling equipment.
- Operator certifications or experience safely operating equipment.

Working Conditions: The Sales and Rental Yard Coordinator is based out of the Surrey branch and works 40 hours on average per week Monday to Friday. This role is expected to have frequent exposure to the elements (80% of the time).
